Hey guys so I thought I would let you know a bit about how we decided on our wedding theme, the colour palette and the decor that we wanted to have at the venue 💒💕
If you have read my other posts about the wedding you’ll know it is a winter wedding so we of course wanted to go for winter colours – no lime greens or fuchsias of course. Our venue puts up Christmas decorations at the start of December so for our wedding day they will be up already and it will be a winter wonderland. We loved that so much but for the decor of the suite where we will be having our ceremony and reception we decided for something not Christmassy but still very wintery (in my opinion). There’s not an actual theme but our main colours are: rose gold with touches of burgundy and dusty rose here and there.
Pinterest is my best friend at the moment so when we were deciding for colour palettes I had like 5 different palettes we could go for and the fiancé agreed that this one was the nicest one. I fell in love with all the pictures I saw with these colours – I’ll leave some pictures that were the main inspo for what we want to achieve for our day.
We found an amazing company here in Scotland that is going to be doing our big decorations like fairy lights, led dance floor and sweets cart and also renting all the centre pieces decor and all that good stuff. I don’t want to say to much about everything we will be having as I want to keep it a surprise ☺️💗.
Also I know sometimes it can be cheaper if you DIY your wedding decor but we don’t really have a lot of time to put everything together as I’m going back to Mexico for a while and the package that we got from them was an amazing price and we basically have everything sorted too, that is really good as we don’t have to stress about getting everything and all the small details since we already have them. I can get really stressed and anxious so I’m a very grateful gal 💁🏻♀️
Let me know what you think of the inspo and colours! I’m literally wedding/rose gold crazy! Everything that is rose gold I need to have at the moment 😂😂 thank you for reading me again. Talk to you next time!
